Why Join the UltraMind Summit

Medication and therapy have helped millions with their mental health, and for many, they’re essential. Even lifesaving.

Yet plenty of people still struggle to find relief.

That’s why the UltraMind Summit is built around one important question: What else could be going on, and what can be done about it?

To help answer that, Dr. Mark Hyman has brought together leading scientists, physicians, and innovators whose work is expanding how we understand—and treat—mental health.

What The Ultramind Summit Is All About

Does mental health have a body problem?

Your brain isn't separate from the rest of your body. Decades of research show it's tightly connected to your gut, your hormones, your immune system, and your metabolism.

When something goes wrong in any of those biological systems, it can affect not just your physical well-being—but also your mental, emotional, and cognitive health.

As a result, "body problems" can be the hidden root cause of:

sadness panic rage brain fog OCD emotional numbness

So if you don't treat the underlying biological issue, you can't fully heal. That's why medication and therapy, though often critical, can be insufficent on their own.

But . . .

Most people are never told this.

That's why we created the UltraMind Summit.

This free live event focuses on the biological drivers of poor mental health—bringing together research, clinical experience, and practical ideas you can explore further and discuss with your care team.

Because for many people who struggle, the next step isn't "try harder." It's "look wider."

Consider this:

  • Nearly 1 in 4 adults—62 million people—now live with a mental health condition1
  • Depression, anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, and trauma-related illness are all on the rise2
  • Psychiatric medications are being prescribed at record rates, yet long-term outcomes remain poor3

So despite increased awareness and resources . . .

Our mental health is getting worse.

At the same time, so is our physical health.

Nearly 50% of U.S. adults have multiple markers of poor metabolic health, with only 7% meeting the standards for "optimal."4,5

Research shows metabolic health issues like insulin resistance are strongly linked to higher risk of depression and cognitive decline, as well as to changes in brain energy and inflammation—which can negatively affect how you think, feel, and act.6,7,8

Even so, conventional mental health treatment doesn't usually evaluate whether biological factors—such as metabolic health, inflammation, gut function, hormones, infections, toxins, nutrition, and immune function—could be contributing to or even directly causing symptoms.

But the reality is this:

  • No amount of therapy stops your blood sugar from crashing.
  • You can't mindset your way out of toxic mold exposure or chronic infection.
  • A brain that isn't getting the nutrients it needs can't function the way it's supposed to.
  • Mood medication doesn't fix chronic inflammation or serious hormone disruptions.

If these underlying issues aren't addressed, it makes sense that so many people still don't feel better—even when they're doing everything right.

A New Model of Mental Health Is Possible

Your brain isn't broken. Your symptoms aren't your identity. And struggling doesn't mean you've failed.

This event is designed to help you ask better questions and understand what else might be driving your symptoms.

The UltraMind Summit challenges the outdated divide between "mental" and "physical" health and introduces a new, evidence-based framework for understanding mood, behavior, and cognition through biology.

Join us at the UltraMind Summit and discover what's possible when you go beyond the mind.
