Step 1
Place a steamer basket in a medium-sized pot and add water, being careful to keep the water level below the basket. Bring to a boil.
Step 2
Press grated ginger to release juice into a small jar, using hands or cheesecloth, and discard ginger pulp.
Step 3
Add the toasted sesame oil, tamari, lime juice, almond butter, and garlic to the ginger juice and mix well.
Step 4
When the water in the pot is boiling, add the broccoli, asparagus, and bok choy to the steamer and steam for 5 minutes. Stir once halfway through so that the vegetables get equal access to the heat.
Step 5
Once veggies are cooked through, carefully remove from steamer pot and immediately toss with the dressing and black sesame seeds before serving.

As we age, maintaining muscle isn’t just about looking fit — it’s essential for energy, balance, bone health, and staying active in daily life. Strong muscles protect your joints, support posture, and make everyday activities like carrying groceries or enjoying your favorite hobbies easier. The challenge is that our bodies naturally lose muscle over time, and it can be harder to get enough of the right building blocks from food alone.
The brand I use and trust to support healthy muscles is Perfect Amino. It delivers all nine essential amino acids in the precise ratios your body needs to build and repair muscle, without added calories, sugar, or fillers.
Available in both tablets and powder flavors, Perfect Amino fits seamlessly into your routine. Take it in the morning, before your workout, or before bed to support muscle repair, speed recovery, and keep you strong and ready for the things you love at any age.
